  • Over 16 years in Executive Search. Susan started BSG after working for one of the world’s largest global search firms as a consultant in their Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, followed by partnership positions with two global boutique firms growing their Healthcare Services practices.

Before expanding into search, Susan worked for three of the nation’s largest and most distinguished healthcare companies for over two decades, taking on positions of increasing responsibility. She also launched and led the National Accounts program for the nation’s first and largest HMO.

Susan Baldwin, President: A search career informed by 25+ years in the healthcare industry  

Before expanding into executive search with Spencer Stuart, Susan Baldwin held positions with several of the nation’s most renowned healthcare companies, including American Hospital Supply/ Allegiance/ Cardinal Health, Baxter International, Caremark (CVS Health), Kaiser Permanente, and Medco Health Solutions (Express Scripts; owned by Cigna Healthcare). At those companies, she held progressively senior roles in client management, sales management, business development, marketing, national accounts, and general management.

 

During her 18 years in executive search she has conducted over 400 executive-level searches in the healthcare services and life sciences space. Outside of her executive search work, she spends countless hours with executives at all stages of their careers, consulting them on their personal career growth.

Courtney brings extensive experience in client services and business development in healthcare services. She began her career in sales and account management with UnitedHealth Care (UHC), where for 10 years she worked closely with executive leaders in small and mid-size self-insured companies, as well as with the broker and consultant community. For two years, Courtney worked at Advocate Aurora Health, a leading health system in Illinois and Wisconsin, to grow its emerging partnership with UHG, and other healthcare services companies. There, she worked closely with providers, clinicians, and executive teams across their vast network.
